    Charlie Brown Is Heading Downtown

    By Jamie Mottram | January 28, 2008

The 1980s was my elementary school decade, and following Super Bowls our crossing guards would hand out Redskins police cards. They were marvelous, with big, colorful pictures of our heroes on the front and life lessons on the back. Needless to say, the women handing these things out became more sought after than crack dealers, which is somewhat ironic.

Oh, the wonderful life you’ve lived.

After I left Heather Hills in Bowie, the crossing guards handed out ass kickings.

Awesome. I do remember Herndon police giving these out.

This is becoming one of my favorite blog segments.
