Blog Show’s Top 10 Sports Blogs of 2007

Over the course of 32 episodes, Blog Show rang the bell for at least 164 sites on regional late afternoon cable TV. That’s a lot of bloggers getting their wings right there.
Naturally, some sites get mentioned more often than others, and I’ve tabulated them all and turned it into a fancy list. Here are the results, which I suppose could be considered Blog Show’s favorite sports blogs of 2007.
Before getting to it though, please accept our gratitude for giving us the good stuff to feature or for simply watching our humble program. Steinz, Littles and I really enjoy putting it together every week, and, somehow, it’ll keep going well into ‘08 (Thanks, Senate Insurance!).
1. FanHouse (36 mentions): Everything under one roof, plus I kind of had an affinity for it for awhile there.
2. Deadspin (29): Gets to a lot of the best stuff first.
3. With Leather (18): Hot chicks + funny videos = TV magic.
4. 100% Injury Rate (15): Finds the most absurd things.
5. (tie) The Big Lead (12): The closest thing to TMZ in sports.
5. (tie) Every Day Should Be Saturday (12): Creative, hilarious, articulate, insane.
7. (tie) D.C. Sports Bog (10): We take care of our own.
7. (tie) Joe Sports Fan (10): Ridiculous, which matches our ethos.
7. (tie) We Are the Postmen (10): Gives great YouTube.
10. (tie) Deuce of Davenport (9): We’ll have to explain the name on-air sometime.
10. (tie) Kissing Suzy Kolber (9): Would be higher if they didn’t write about earhole penetration and such.

Also, With Leather is too low. I would’ve just linked them two or three times a show, if you didn’t. That’s probably my favorite website.
