Tuesday’s Basically Top Five Blog Links
By Jamie Mottram | December 18, 2007
Since there’s no longer a business need for the Basically Top Five — Yahoo! editors are well-versed on the ’sphere by now, and we aren’t taping new episodes of Blog Show until 2008; at which time we’ll have an intern — this may be the last morning link dump for some time. Or maybe I won’t be able to stay away. We’ll see, but you’ve been warned.
- Saban to West Virginia!!1! Unfounded rumors are delicious, as are videos of disgruntled Mountaineers fans.
- Knight taught Isiah something. How to treat people, not how to coach.
- MDS goes insides MNF. One of the most prolific, knowledgeable football bloggers around was behind the scenes with ESPN’s crew yesterday.
- Swindle Industries expands. The EDSBS mastermind joins Sporting News, starts a college hoops blog.
- Mike Greenberg’s new gameshow is not good. The Washington Post review couldn’t be more negative.
Bonus links: Brady Quinn does good … Bloggers’ choice NBA awards … Fun with NBA statheads … Video of a blogger eating a raw egg … Prior’s departure hurts Wrigleyville’s hotness … Meahead Mike Vick fan … AA’s Gus Johnson interview … Tebow & friend … MJ’s vintage Xmas commercial … Amanda Beard in a bikini … Mickelson’s many faces
