Remebering Chris Farley, Comic Genius
By Chris Mottram | December 18, 2007
As 100% Injury Rate points out, it was 10 years ago today that Chris Farley passed away. I was 15 at the time, and Farley was — and continues to be — my comedic idol. If you asked me to name the top 10 funniest movies I’ve ever seen, both “Tommy Boy” and “Black Sheep” would be in there. His work in “Coneheads,” “Airheads,” “Billy Madison” and “Wayne’s World” cannot be overlooked either (although we can forget about “Beverly Hills Ninja”).
But it was what he did during his six years on “Saturday Night Live” that made him a legend. Injury Rate has posted a bunch of Farley classics, but this would have to be my all-time favorite:
In fact, I heart that character (and Chris Farley) so much, that I was Matt Foley for Halloween last year. Visual evidence after the jump.
