One of the reasons for doing Basically Top Five is to educate Yahoo! Sports editors on the type of content their site will feature in the near future. One such editor who needs no education is Joe Lago, who turned me onto Hudsonia yesterday, a soccer audio blog dedicated to the broadcast stylings of Ray Hudson. Highly recommended.
- Brian Moorman remembers Sean Taylor. The Bills punter (pictured) who was laid out by Boom King in the Pro Bowl talks to DC Sports Bog.
- Tim Tebow wears Crocs! Just as “Florida wears jean shorts” wears thin, another Gator faux pas arises. Note: Moorman also wears Crocs.
- Bob Knight caught on camera. You probably saw this on SportsCenter, but Dallas Morning News has the full video. “Move down!”
- Rudy Giuliani gets stuck for wearing a Sox hat. Ah, presidential YouTube debates and their hi jinx. Watch the clip, then take a shower.
- Titans is the worst team name in sports. Rays is pretty bad too, but this absurd FanHouse TV production makes it hard to argue.
