    Wednesday’s Basically Top Five Links

    By Jamie Mottram | November 21, 2007

Here are your Basically Top Five national sports blog links of the day. These usually get posted Monday through Friday around 9 a.m. ET, but I may take the holiday to ween myself off of the blog game. If that’s the case, have a happy Thanksgiving, everybody, and enjoy all the football. And food and alcohol.

    1. Wizznutzz unveils Gil TV! Nothing could be finer than four longform Adidas commercials celebrating the Agent Zero legend that Wizznutzz helped create by coining the nickname in the summer of ‘06.
    2. Having fun with Saban’s “catastrophic” commentary. EDSBS flexes their satirical muscles, as evidenced by the term “Holocaust-tastic.”
    3. Celebrating J-Roll Day. Bugs & Cranks celebrates everything from the new NL MVP’s high school to his record label.
    4. First-hand from the Maui Invitational. Great insight from a blogger in Hawaii. My favorite? Jay Bilas has worn the same shirt for two days.
    5. LSU is having a “March for Miles.” This shouldn’t distract them from their quest for a national championship. No, not at all.

*Note* -The following comment maybe be classified as slobbering all over myself, and/or begging for attention.

I’m thankful this year for coaching meltdowns, Blog Show t-shirts, and Chris promising to live blog the MEAC tournament in Raleigh next March.
