This is a new, revolutionary feature known as Basically Top Five. It’s totally different from and more refreshing than other links dumps such as The Roundup and Saint Andrew’s Net, and the name honors our friend Brian the Bull, who says “basically” and “top five” a lot. The former means he’s lying, and the latter means he’s embellishing.
- Lloyd Carr will retire next week. That’s what’s M Go Blog is hearing, and it would be badass for Carr to walk away after beating Ohio State.
- ESPN edits out Golic’s steroids admission. The bigger half of Mike & Mike admits on-air that he used during his playing days, but the online version contains no such commentary. Nothing to see here!
- Redskins fans burn a McNabb jersey. They should’ve chose Westbrook.
- ‘The first penis goal in the Bundes-league.’ To quote the footballer: “I scored with a large part, and it hurt me a lot.”
- MJ’s divorce tab comes out to $168 million. Biggest. Settlement. Ever. And the post-playing hits just keep on coming for Salieri!

honestly…remember the days when i use to have a blog…called it ‘basically top five’…damn i wish i saved some of those lists. they would be hilarious to read now. seriously though, if it were to be resurrected by anyone, i’m glad it was you…keep the name strong, or basically, ‘i’ll fuggin kill you dude.’
