Customized Jerseys Aren’t Always Lame
By Jamie Mottram | November 5, 2007
Exhibit A, from Mr. Irrelevant’s good friend Andy:
Mike wanted a Redskins jersey for his birthday but wanted to make sure he got one for someone who should be around for awhile. So [his GF] Kristen ordered the #47 Capt Chaos after several discussions about Cooley taking his bonus check through the drive-thru, getting two Redskins cheerleaders fired, getting engaged to one of them and doing 21 shots with his pops on her birthday … You know, the usual stuff.
That right there is a jersey customization worth celebrating, far better than UWANA 69 or TWELFTHMAN, although Kristen could’ve just gotten Mike a Captain Chaos tee for one-fifth the price and spent the rest on Redskins unmentionables. He’d have been satisfied, and Cooley would’ve been proud.
