David Carr Wears Dainty White Gloves
By Jamie Mottram | September 23, 2007
David Carr saw his first real action for Carolina in today’s win at Atlanta. More importantly, the man who was once Houston’s franchise QB sported the same pretty white gloves he tried out this preseason.
“Zoolander,” as Texans fans call him, says the gloves help him grip the ball. Perhaps, but they also make him look like he plans on giving the center a full body cavity search. That, or ripping off his uniform to reveal Oscar De La Hoya’s wardrobe. Or possibly all of the above.

Elsewhere in the contest, DeAngelo Hall had a meltdown of epic proportions while covering Steve Smith to the tune of three penalties for 67 yards down the stretch. His hair was unavailable for comment.

Have he no respect for post-Labor day fashion etiquette?

He’s a surgeon, chief.
If the gloves don’t scream that, I don’t know what to say to you anymore.

We’re calling him “Mr. Mittens”.

Hope it was okay that we used the photo.

The gloves are nice but what really sets of his ensemble is, what looks to be, a cheezy porn mustache.
