It’s Part of Your Freaky Dream, Stephon

    By Chris Mottram | September 10, 2007

Undrafted rookie lineman Stephon Heyer was, as Jamie pointed out today, a huge part of the Redskins success yesterday. He stepped in for Jon Jansen at right tackle after spending the entire preseason playing left tackle in place of Chris Samuels. And after a great day for Heyer, he was somehow able to channel David Bowie:

“Everything seemed like a dream, just a weird dream,” the 6-foot-6, 320-pound rookie said.

That sounds so very familiar for some reason:

Remember Stephon: The media monkeys and the junkie-junkies will invite you to the plastic pantomime. Throw their invites away.

And don’t be scared to get one of these funky, funky eyepatches, Stephon, for next week’s MNF game in Philly.

I’m so glad we finally got a Conchords clip on here. It won’t be the last time.
