High School Student Pulls Off the Yale Prank, Gets Suspended
By Chris Mottram | August 30, 2007
It was about a year ago that a group of incredible dorks geniuses pulled off a prank in which they managed to get four sections of Harvard football fans to hold up signs which spelled out “We Suck.” Last week, a 17-year-old high school student in Ohio did the same thing:
Kyle Garchar, a senior at Hilliard Davidson High School in suburban Columbus, said he spent about 20 hours over three days plotting the trick, which was captured on video.
And here is said video:
Of course the Man didn’t appreciate Kyle’s crafty ways and handed down “three days of in-school suspension and banned him from extracurricular activities for a semester.” What in the hell is in-school suspension? Isn’t the whole fun of being suspended getting to stay home? And that whole no extracurriculars is real bummer. I’m sure he’s upset that his parents won’t be able to force him into playing a sport or joining the chorus. Now he go straight home and get high hang out with friends.
(And is that video set to music by Mogwai? Hipster-prankster.)

Of course, the original was The Great Rose Bowl Hoax, which will never be topped. But this is pretty impressive for three kids in high school.
