This Is Why Zidane Headbutted Materazzi

Surely we all remember the headbutt during the World Cup that almost made us all care about soccer for a few minutes. Well, Italy’s Marco Materazzi, who was the headbuttee, has finally admitted what he said to Zinedine Zidane:

“‘I prefer the whore that is your sister,’ Materazzi said during an interview in next week’s edition of Italian magazine TV Sorrisi E Canzoni.”

That’s it? “Whore”? I don’t have any sisters, so I can’t really relate. However, one time a friend of mine called a female dog we had a “whore” (or maybe it was “bitch,” I don’t sweat the details). I did not feel the urge to headbutt him. Not sure if that’s similar or not.
