Fun Bunch: Chris Paul’s ‘Smashing Lions’

If there were more hours in the day, we’d blog about everything Redskins-related. Alas, there are not, so here’s a bunch of fun leading up to Detroit.

I love that, through high tide and low tide, someone out there is recording new Redskins rap songs before each and every game. This week’s is a good one, riffing off of Kanye’s “Flashing Lights.”* [The Player Hater’s Ball]

The average power ranking of the Redskins is 6th, and the Lions are 32nd, which is similar Washington-St. Louis two weeks ago. [Real Clear Sports]

An impartial blogger, one without feelings, breaks down the Cleveland game and calls Portis “the best running back in the league.” [FanHouse]

D.C. sports fan and digital media guy that's been doing this since 2004. Once threw a football further than Chris Cooley.

You’re right, Stet: The Bog has been terrific this week, even more so than usual. And I think it’s because Steinz is developing a Wiz-esque rapport with the Skins, but that’s just conjecture on my part.

Steinberg has been all over interviewing the Skins and its harder because well theres many more of them than there are Wizards. And frankly, theres probably more characters on the Skins than on the Zards. Portis, Cooley, Smoot, Fletcher, Brennan even versus Arenas, Nick Young, and Pecherov. I’d take the Skins. Though Arenas is still the most entertaining sports star in the nation.
