DMV: He’s the Opposite of Too Big to Fail

Haynesworth failed the conditioning test Shanahan gave him on Day 1 of camp:

“Haynesworth performed well on the first of two 300-yard shuttle runs, but stopped during the second run for a lavatory break. After returning, Haynesworth was instructed to start over and he could not complete the process.”

“A lavatory break.” Hmmm. Potty or vomit? I’m going with the latter. [Redskins Insider]

Of course the conditioning test wasn’t really a test. [SB Nation D.C.]

Has anyone seen the reasoning behind Strasburg’s trip to the DL? Apparently it’s because of bad mechanics compared to Mark Prior/Kerry Wood. This is according to a White Sox pitching coach. The dreaded inverted w.

Somebody has to know in the Nats organization before he becomes the next Mark Prior! *sobs*
