DMV: Njyer’s Latest Baserunning Boner

In the 10th inning of a scoreless game, Nyjer Morgan barreled into the Marlins catcher rather than sliding, which was the obvious play and probably would’ve resulted in the go-ahead run. Instead, he was called out, and Jordan Zimmermann’s start (6 IP, 0 ER, 1 H, 9 K) went for naught. [WaPo]

Zimm was awesome. Getting tired of Tony Plush. Real tired.

What do we have to pay to get Crawford or someone like him? I would like to see Willington, Bernadina and Crawford in the OF next year.

From what I’ve read, Crawford would be in the neighborhood if 5 years, $75 million, which I’d be ecstatic about.

Crawford also said he was disappointed with the attendance rate at Tropicana, so it might be difficult to lure him to Nationals Park, especially with that certain incident happening that I don’t like to talk about.

I got a boner while running the bases once. It was massive.

    Thanks for listening.

Crawford also plays at Tropicana which is a shit hole. At least he would have a new ballpark and a team that doesn’t play the Yankees and Red Sox 36 times a year.

I promise to drink two more beers per game attended if it means signing Crawford and Dunn.
