DMV: Never Forget the Glenn Davis Trade

Twenty years ago yesterday, Baltimore traded youngsters Curt Schilling, Steve Finley and Pete Harnisch for Glenn Davis. The trio went on to play in nine All-Star games. Davis posted a .713 OPS over three seasons in Baltimore. Pretty sure that’s the worst trade ever. Nice turtleneck though. [Orioles Card “O” the Day]

Davis was a beast in RBI Baseball for the Astros though. Nolan Ryan on the bump and a little Kevin Bass. Finish it up with Mike Scott. They were a lackluster RBI Baseball squad, but pitching is what counted… And sly base running.

HAHA. I was just thinking that! In RBI II, the A’s were unstoppable. Ricky leading off, Lansford, Canseco, McWire, Parker, Stewart starting with Eckersly coming in to finish it. RBI Baseball is seriously the best baseball game ever. Now I have the song stuck in my head..
