DMV: Da Meathook Is Doin’ Yardwork

da-meathook-belly.jpgDMV is a daily roundup of District-Maryland-Virginia (mostly) sporting links.

Dmitri Young hits his first HR of 2009 as the Potomac Nationals beat Lastings Milledge’s Lynchburg Hillcats. Now all the big-league Nats need to do is trade Nick Johnson and Da Meathook will be back where he belongs. [Federal Baseball]

The Junkies are going back to being the Sports Junkies? Really? They don’t know shit about sports. EB will talk about poker which isn’t a sport, JP can talk about boxing, Cakes about running and Lurch about the Sox. Sounds awesome.

I think a couple of them are Skins fans, and another one or two are Terps fans, so that’s something, I guess.

They are Terps fans and a few are Skins fans but I have a hard time listening to someone from this area who grew up in the 80s and is a 49ers and a Red Sox fan. Couldn’t be more of a loser, bandwagon douche if you ask me.
