Abe Pollin, 1923-2009


Wizards owner Abe Pollin, a great Washingtonian, died today.

The news just broke, and the tributes are pouring in from all sides. We’ll link them as we see them, and thanks to Getty Images for the above photo. It was taken in 1975, three years before his Bullets were NBA champs.
